Biography
Tanner Laws was born and raised in Thompson Falls, Montana and graduated from Montana Tech in Butte, MT with a Civil Engineering Degree. While at Montana Tech, Tanner began practicing guitar in his dorm room until he could play and sing at the same time. In 2019 he began performing at bars around Butte. In 2021, Tanner quit his Engineering job to pursue music full-time and record original music. He has 2 albums out titled "Montana Livin'" and "LAWS". His songwriting inspirations include Keith Whitley, George Strait, Clint Black, Tyler Childers, and Turnpike Troubadours to name a few. Tanner's accolades include winning Songwriter of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Local Solo artist of the Year at the Northwest CMA Awards. He has opened for the likes of Dustin Lynch, Clint Black, Sam Barber, Braxton Keith, Marty Stuart, Mitchell Tenpenny, Bo DePeña, Frank Ray, Kenny Feidler, and The Wilder Blue. Tanner performs both as a solo act as well as with a band recently and is open for booking for bars, breweries, weddings, fairs, festivals, concerts, and private parties.
